Cardiology Cath Lab Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Singing River Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for assisting in all Cardiac Cath lab procedures and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist in all Cardiac Cath lab procedures, working under the general supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab Team Leader and physicians.
- Prepare and operate fluoro/recording equipment to produce specialized fluoro studies of the coronary and peripheral vascular systems.
- Ensure accuracy and maintain asepsis procedures to prevent injury to patients.
- Collaborate with the Cardiac Cath Lab Team Leader and physicians to ensure effective communication and patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with the latest procedures and technologies.
- Graduate from an accredited, state-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Credentialed by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or equivalent.
- Currently licensed as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT and maintain certification.
- Minimum of six (6) months' experience in Special Procedures and Cardiac Cath required.
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional weekend and holiday call requirements. The employee will be required to stand for extended periods, wear lead aprons, and work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to ionized radiation.
