Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • Valid California RN license
  • Minimum 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse I with AHS or equivalent experience in a comparable setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
