Endoscopy Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients and contribute to a positive work environment at LewisGale Medical Center.

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for patients in the Endoscopy unit.
• Display strong and accurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills while following company policies, including those related to confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to report critical information or changes in patient condition.
• Provide comfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentiveness, including pain assessment and reassessment.
• Document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care for an effective and current plan of care.

• Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program.
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
