Job Opportunity:

The Mercy Medical Center is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist with a focus on GI motility disorders to join our team. As a key member of our Institute for Digestive Health and Liver Disease, you will work closely with our experienced therapeutic endoscopists, nurses, dietician, and surgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients with motility disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, education, and treatment of motility disorders.
  • Work under the supervision of the director of neuro-gastroenterology & motility and report to the director of IDHLD.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in clinical research and education to advance the field of GI motility disorders.

Requirements:

  • Completion of ACGME residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in gastroenterology.
  • Must possess or be eligible to possess a state of Maryland physician license.
  • Must have training in gastrointestinal motility.
  • Candidate must have an interest in esophageal motility and clinical research.
