Job Title: Family Medicine Physician
Overview
The Family Medicine Physician provides primary care services, managing a patient panel and collaborating with midlevel providers and staff. This role is ideal for a skilled physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and working as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care with clinical independence and collaboration.
- Demonstrate strong medical knowledge and clinical competence.
- Provide appropriate referrals, admissions, and prescribe treatments.
- Ensure comprehensive care for all age groups, following health maintenance protocols.
- Manage patient care in cooperation with other healthcare professionals and supervise mid-level providers when needed.
- Maintain accurate and legible patient records.
- Fulfill hospital, call, and nursing home responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Medical Degree from an accredited university
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in primary care group practice or community health center
Work Environment
- Comfortable and well-lit setting, with occasional high stress due to patient volume.
Schedule
- May include evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
