Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to perform material handling assignments, ensuring efficient and safe movement of products throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport pallet loads of product from the dock to the correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment, ensuring all pallets are securely placed to avoid damage or injury during product selection.
  • Replenish pick slots with product from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels for night shift selection.
  • Operate and maintain reach trucks to deliver top-notch quality, ensuring they are consistently clean and in optimal operational condition.
  • Perform operations and safety checks, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
  • Record all products, equipment, and warehouse damage.
  • Conduct thorough end-of-shift wipe-downs of reach trucks and other equipment, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and functionality.
  • Maintain aisle cleanliness by removing debris from the floor and racks.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Job-related certification for Material Handling Equipment.
  • Prior Selector experience is preferred.
  • Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Must be able to understand Voxware commands.
