We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Physician to join our team at Interim Healthcare - Lancaster, CA. As a Hospice Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Direction: Provide medical direction to the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and ensure continuity of care for our patients.
- Patient Care: Act as the primary medical resource for our patients, providing medical coverage and support during and after normal business hours.
- Documentation: Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IDG to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Education: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree.
- Licensure: Current license in good standing in the State of California.
- Certification: Board certified in a related specialty.
- Experience: Hospice/palliative experience preferred.
- Work Environment: Typical interior/office work environment.
- Travel: Occasional travel to make patient visits.
- Physical Effort: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
