Job Overview

Aptura Group is seeking a skilled Wood Craftsman to join our team. As a Wood Craftsman, you will be responsible for fabricating custom architectural woodwork products, including flush wood doors and frames, custom stile and rail wood doors and frames, and related products for commercial, medical, and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe, productive, and timely work environment
  • Fabricate custom architectural woodwork projects and stile and rail wood doors in our woodworking facility with the use of various tools
  • Ensure good workmanship in all activities
  • Coordinate with Shop Foreman and Shop Manager as required to ensure the work is completed properly and in alignment with customer expectations
  • Seek out training on new skills and installation techniques and diligently listen and consistently apply knowledge gained to grow expertise as a craftsman
Requirements
  • Experienced with woodwork shop fabrication, cabinetry, and casework
  • Knowledge and capability to make repairs to doors with damage using proper refinishing techniques
  • High quality workmanship
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
