The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Requisition, receive, unpack, repack, stock, and deliver supplies to meet campus needs.
  • Monitor and fill requests for items, accurately recording data related to issues and credits.
  • Perform tasks in a customer-focused service environment, maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain all portable patient care equipment and traction, initiating repair procedures as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements:**

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of Sterile Processing/Distribution, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Management program within 1 year of hire.
  • Customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, communication, and telephone skills required.
  • A valid NY state driver's license is required for some aspects of this job.

**Certification and Registration:**

  • Certification as Sterile Processing/Distribution Technician or Materials Management is required at time of hire.
  • Certification with the certifying agency must be maintained throughout employment at Crouse Health, re-certifying as required and in accordance with the certifying agency guidelines.
  • If hired without certification, the employee must obtain certification within one (1) year of employment.
