Job Title: Composite Assembler I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Composite Assembler I to join our team at Axelon. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of high-precision aerospace components, including filament wound pressure vessels and structures.

Responsibilities:

* Complete training and execute all steps required to fabricate and assemble composite pressure vessels
* Prepare and complete setup of machines
* Mix and prepare chemicals and resins
* Load and unload ovens
* Meet daily output requirements
* Perform proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product

Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience or 1 year of military experience
* US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications:

* HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
* Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
* Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools are a plus

Work Environment:

* 1st shift
* Shift hours are: 6am-3:00pm
