We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology Team at VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley. As a Veterinary Technician in our Oncology Department, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to pets with cancer. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our veterinarians and board-certified specialists in delivering high-quality, specialty-level care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments
  • Monitor patients during anesthesia and provide critical care support
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and other medical procedures
  • Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional patient care and customer service
Requirements:
  • Current RVT license or eligibility for VTNE certification
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in oncology
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
