Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse House Supervisor to lead our MedSurg Department. This is a permanent PRN position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions, establishing a plan of care that addresses identified problems and involves the patient in their treatment.
- Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels to ensure effective care delivery.
- Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff, conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Assess and ensure quality of services delivered, facilitating staff development programs and enforcing compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Requirements:
- A minimum Associate's degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A current RN License in the State of TN or another compact state is required.
- Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are necessary at hire or within six months.
