Job Summary

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controls Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for executing daily and/or project-related activities supporting our Controller's group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Policy and Procedure Management: Update control or process documentation for the Controller's team using PowerPoint or Excel, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Develop drillable dashboards to track overdue or outstanding items, and follow-up on overdue items, assisting in preparing mid-year and annual financial reports according to Governmental accounting standards and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders to bring items current, gathering and analyzing financial and non-financial data for inclusion in external reports.
  • Annual Audit Support: Support the accounting team with annual audit requirements, working with external auditors to meet the annual audit completion deadline.
  • Business Intelligence and Reporting: Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports, performing other duties as assigned within the functional area of accounting/reporting and financial controls.
Requirements
  • Strong Technical Skills: Strong O365 Microsoft Skills, especially Excel, Tableau or Power BI skills preferred.
  • Organizational and Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work in teams and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, possessing strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience

3-5 years of full-time experience in auditing/accounting with a bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
