Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate assigned patients, while planning, implementing, and documenting comprehensive nursing care.
- Assist physicians during medical examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications, adhering to the registered nurse's scope of practice.
- Encourage patient autonomy by setting care objectives and educating patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Utilize professional experience and clinical judgment to achieve care goals effectively.
- Report directly to the unit manager or department head.
- Possess an Associate's degree and maintain an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
- Experience with oncological and surgical practices is highly desirable.
