- Product Preparation: Slice, cut, prepare, weigh, and package products according to established standards and quality goals, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve department goals, provide support and assistance as needed, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of various products and services offered in the department, and provide recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Adherence to Company Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines, and maintain a high level of compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; deli, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks; and ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, and lift products; and ability to work in a cold environment.
