Our Team
We are a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and outcomes. Our Emergency Department is a Level 2 Trauma Center, featuring 8 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1 to 4. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering remarkable patient experiences.

About the Position
This full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse position involves providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a positive work environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate patient care needs for discharge planning in interdisciplinary care conferences and with members of the healthcare team
- Develop and implement an individualized plan of nursing care with the patient and family that addresses their identified needs and concerns
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members in coordinating the plan of care and facilitating patient outcomes
- Implement and evaluate the patient's response to care through assessment and reassessment and update the plan of care
- Provide care based on established standards of practice, policies, and protocols
- Ensure that patients are admitted, transferred, and discharged in a timely and efficient manner
- Demonstrate leadership by providing information as a resource nurse, mentor, and coach, and delegator of nursing care activities

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
- At least 1 year of experience in emergency nursing preferred
