Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Systems Management: Design, implement, and sustain thorough quality management systems across various operations, ensuring they align with industry benchmarks (e.g., ISO, GMP) and organizational goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to pertinent regulatory standards and industry norms, including but not limited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and sector-specific regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Recognize areas for enhancement within the quality systems, leading projects aimed at refining processes, minimizing defects, and elevating overall product quality.
  • Auditing and Inspection: Organize, execute, and oversee internal and external quality audits and inspections. Address any non-conformities and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Training and Development: Create and conduct training sessions for personnel to ensure comprehension and compliance with quality standards and protocols.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain precise and current quality documentation, including procedures, policies, and records. Prepare and deliver regular updates on quality performance and improvement efforts to senior leadership.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate closely with other departments, including production, research and development, and supply chain, to ensure quality objectives are integrated into all operational facets.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with quality and compliance, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Customer Engagement: Promptly address customer complaints and quality concerns, working to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) is advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in quality management within the chemicals sector, with a proven history of managing multiple quality systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements specific to the chemicals industry.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capability to identify trends, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and compliance.
