Job Summary

Bobby Dodd Institute is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash in a responsible manner.
  • Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Clean glass and windows.
  • Vacuum rugs and carpets.
  • Mix cleaning solutions and maintain issued equipment.
  • Notify supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed.
  • Cooperate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Physical Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be able to stand for long periods, walk, and sit. They must also be able to lift and carry 35 pounds, push and pull 35 pounds, and climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.

Overall Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with three to six months of training or experience working as a janitor. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong sense of integrity and be able to pass a security clearance.
