About the Role

We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer to join our engineering team at Acuity, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement mobile and tablet apps using native development tools and React Native.
  • Create UI screens and modules for both iOS and Android, integrating with React Native applications.
  • Develop software code, unit tests, and assist with encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Review requirements, wireframes, and designs for technical feasibility, then translate these into user stories that can be implemented.
  • Improve product quality through code reviews, writing effective unit tests, and implementing automation testing.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience in React Native with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge in React Native, Objective-C, Swift, Core Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, cross-platform mobile solutions.
  • Experience working on large, complex systems.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Experience in developing native and cross-platform mobile applications of different form factors.
Clearance Requirements

Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability clearance.
