Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Eggs Up Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, working closely with the rest of the kitchen team
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
• Clean up station and kitchen, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Stock inventory appropriately, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies
• Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion, meeting the high standards of Eggs Up Grill
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers, providing excellent customer service
• Complete Temperature Logs and Checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring that our kitchen is always clean and safe
• Participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef/prep cook
• Familiarity and fluency in kitchen terminology
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry best practices
• Willingness to pursue ServSafe certification is a plus
