RN - Mechanical Heart Program Coordinator

At Providence, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and providing opportunities for professional growth. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Advanced Heart Disease and Transplant program, you will play a critical role in coordinating care for mechanical heart patients.
About the RoleThis is a full-time exempt position that requires an average of 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for assignments involving technical and clinical support, including ventricular assist device preparation, device readiness, implant period management, device monitoring, post-implant analysis, and clinical training.
Additionally, you will coordinate hospital admissions and monitor clinical progress, effectively using the transplant committee as an opportunity for care conferences regarding difficult cases. Your expertise will also be utilized to provide professional, peer, and patient education, participating in the development of patient education programs.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- A Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- No less than 5 years of Acute, Ambulatory or Clinic nursing experience
