About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care during surgical procedures and ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
As a key member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing patients physically, mentally, and emotionally for surgical procedures
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or concerns
- Assisting anesthesia providers as needed
- Documenting patient records accurately and thoroughly
- Maintaining awareness of OR schedules to ensure smooth patient flow
- Ensuring timely turnover of rooms for subsequent cases
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nevada
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher (BSN preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Acute Care OR setting or Surgical Center
- ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association required
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association required
