Overview:

MVP Recruitment is seeking an experienced MDS-PPS Coordinator (RN or LPN) to join our team at a renowned non-profit Skilled Nursing Community. This community is known for its exceptional care standards and supportive work environment. The MDS-PPS Coordinator will manage a manageable case load and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, including two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee the MDS (Minimum Data Set) and PPS (Prospective Payment System) processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of resident assessments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Monitor and manage MDS documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of MDS records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Educate and support staff on MDS and PPS procedures and requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes.
  • Serve as a resource for staff and management on MDS and PPS-related matters.

Qualifications:
  • Current RN or LPN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in MDS and PPS coordination within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to MDS and PPS.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MDS software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
