Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen - North America. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems, including diagnostic testing, repairs, and maintenance of extensive electrical systems, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery, including trim presses, extruders, formers, and grinders.
  • Modify new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean, and tidy.
  • Follow all Company established rules and policies.

Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalency; 3-5 years related experience; 2 Year Electrical Technology degree; Residential/Commercial License preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading (mechanical/electrical), knowledge of AC and DC drive systems required.
  • Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Knowledge of PLCs is required.
  • Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential. Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.
