Job Overview

Position Summary:

Production associates play a crucial role in the food processing sector, engaging in a variety of tasks essential for efficient operations. Responsibilities may encompass activities such as trimming, assembling corrugated packaging, maintaining cleanliness (Utility), handling materials, executing rework tasks, inserting condiments, and spreading products. Additional duties may involve packing items into corrugated boxes and palletizing while adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency benchmarks. Responsibilities may vary daily based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit proficiency in various trimming methods (dependent on assigned area).
  • Conduct visual assessments of raw materials during trimming, product spreading, and rework activities.
  • Report quality concerns regarding raw materials to designated personnel.
  • Ensure timely execution of changeovers during condiment insertion tasks (as required).
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Meet daily production targets consistently.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and visual instructions effectively.
  • Capable of lifting over 25 pounds repeatedly.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods (10 hours or more).
  • Frequent bending throughout the shift.
  • Able to work in a loud, wet, and cold environment, approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Availability to work six consecutive days, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Able to reach with hands and arms to inspect products.
