About the Role

At Mercy, we're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a RN Phase II Pre-Operative Care Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing exceptional care to outpatient pre- and post-surgery patients.

Job Summary

This is a $63,000 - $80,000 per year, full-time opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a RN Phase II Pre-Operative Care Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care from admission to discharge.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services, utilizing the nursing process to plan and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective strategies for managing patient flow and minimizing delays.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A current RN license in our state.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pre-operative care or a related field.
