Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Electrical Foreman to join our team in the Athens, GA area. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of electricians and ensuring that projects are completed safely, correctly, and on time.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of electricians in the installation and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and electrical fixtures.
- Inspect quality of work to ensure company standards and project specifications are met.
- Review materials received at jobsite to ensure they are correct and not defective.
- Ensure that all initial safety and hazard assessments are completed before work begins.
- Communicate effectively with team members, plant engineers, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects and employees simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
- Travel to job sites as required, with per diem included.
- 4-6 years of experience in electrical installation and repair.
- NCCER certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including times of inclement weather.
- Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
- Must be highly safety conscious and have ability to see and escape from dangerous situations.
- Ability to climb a ladder and step into various pieces of equipment.
