Skilled Carpenter

At Haselden Construction, we're seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study blueprints and building plans to determine the type and quantity of materials needed.
• Select and prepare materials for construction.
• Install ladders and ensure safe access to work areas.
• Mark cutting and assembly lines on materials.
• Shape materials to precise measurements.
• Assemble and fasten materials together.
• Verify the trueness of structures using a plumb bob and carpenter's level.
• Erect framework and lay subflooring.
• Build stairs and install partitions and cabinet work.
• Cover subfloor with building paper and lay hardwood, parquet, and wood-strip-block floors.
• Apply shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, and decorative paneling to ceilings and walls.
• Fits and installs prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
• Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Weld metal parts to steel structural members.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to take direction from supervisors.
• Provide own safety footwear.
• Provide own basic hand tools.
• Reliable transportation or ability to access job sites.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00 per hour.
