Medical Assistant - Post-Acute Care Specialist

About the Role

This position involves providing high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities, working closely with medical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized nursing care to residents, including vital sign monitoring and reporting concerns to supervisors.
  • Serving meals, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Supporting residents with mobility, toileting, and other ADLs, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Communicating effectively with visitors, families, and medical staff to provide exceptional support and care.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Massachusetts.
  • A basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing procedures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent bedside manner and a compassionate approach to caring for patients.
