Comprehensive Speech Therapist for Academic Success

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide expert therapeutic services to students in a school setting. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, a valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and experience working with children in a school or clinical setting.
- The SLP will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs and goals, and providing direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of improvement in speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide high-quality, direct therapy services to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, phonology, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive language.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting.
About the Role:
This is a contract position offering 37.5 hours of work per week, with dates of assignment from August to June. The successful candidate will be based in Hudson, NH, and will play a vital role in supporting the academic success of students through effective speech and language therapy services.
