Job Summary

We are seeking a certified Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Honolulu. As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will have the opportunity to conduct safe and effective group exercise classes, develop relationships with members, and serve as a representative of the YMCA.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Conduct group exercise classes in accordance with YMCA standards and guidelines
  • Develop relationships with members
  • Serve as a representative of the YMCA
  • Find substitutes for classes as necessary
  • Report broken and/or missing equipment immediately to supervisor

The estimated salary for this position is $24-$32 per hour.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in health/fitness field preferred
  • Knowledge of designing, conducting, and implementing safe and effective group exercise classes
  • Knowledge of general health and wellness
