Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and program building automation systems, including graphics, communications links, and end-to-end testing
  • Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation, and job close-out requirements
  • Represent the company as the direct customer contact, responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects
  • Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand project requirements, forecast issues, and synchronize on-site work
  • Stay up-to-date on Trane products, including installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued assets
  • Display team effort and dedication to customers by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required, with at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls
  • Technical school or formal training preferred
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations
  • Previous experience with DDC controls systems preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seatbelt
  • Ability to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots
  • Ability to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction
  • Ability to squat and touch the floor with both hands
  • Ability to reach your hands over your head
  • Ability to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods

Compensation:

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
