Perioperative Nurse Educator Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Nurse Educator to join our team in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse educator to support the education and development of our perioperative nursing staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering educational programs, assessing learning needs, and developing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs for perioperative nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing competency development.
  • Assess learning needs and develop targeted educational initiatives to address gaps in knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and nurse directors to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and revise policies and procedures to guide perioperative care, based on evidence-based practice.
  • Monitor progress and adapt educational programs as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Procedural nursing experience required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
