We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator - Precision Metal Fabricator to join our team at Yates Industries Inc.

Job Summary:

The Saw Operator will be responsible for operating precision metal cutting equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient production of high-quality metal parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate precision metal cutting equipment, including saws and cranes, to produce high-quality metal parts
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in production, meeting quality standards and productivity goals
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, identifying and addressing any issues promptly
• Collaborate with production team members to achieve production targets and meet customer demands
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and improve productivity

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-5 years of experience in a job shop environment or related field
• Ability to read blueprints, use tape measures, and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds

Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
