Job Summary

We are seeking a Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for helping customers resolve their insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Coverage: Evaluate insurance policies to determine the extent of coverage for customers.
  • Determine Liability: Investigate accidents to determine who is at fault and responsible for damages.
  • Interview Customers and Claimants: Conduct interviews with customers and claimants to gather information and resolve claims.
  • Partner with Appraisers/Estimators: Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs and ensure accurate claims processing.
  • Negotiate with Customers and Insurance Carriers: Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims and ensure fair outcomes.
Requirements
  • Three Years of Relevant Work Experience or a Bachelor's degree, or two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm during training; 9am to 6pm after training.

Gilbert, AZ.

Compensation
  • Salary: $51,000 - $54,500/year, plus gainshare bonus up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance, and an additional 10% for evening or weekend hours.
