Job Summary

This Medical Screener role is responsible for verifying donor eligibility, conducting registration procedures, and educating donors on the plasma donation process.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist donors in completing the screening process, including health history, medical questions, and health screening procedures.
2. Educate donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, including the screening process, health screening tests, and center policies.
3. Maintain accurate records of donor data and perform quality control checks.
4. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth donor flow and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. A minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment, is preferred.
3. You must be able to perform basic math calculations and understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
4. You must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
5. You will occasionally perform tasks while standing and walking up to 100% of the time, reach, bend, kneel, and have a high level of manual dexterity.
6. You may be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience. We also provide options for health care benefits, including choices of plans for medical and prescription drug coverage, dental, and vision coverage.
