Job Summary

Versiti Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and customer support duties related to Donor Testing Laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain donor privacy and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Accurately perform data entry functions using laboratory information systems.
  • Review and prepare all supplemental and 3rd party laboratory testing.
  • Proofread own work for content, spelling, accuracy, and document format.
  • Handle reporting of all supplemental and 3rd party laboratory testing.
  • Maintain, organize, and archive laboratory records for long-term storage.
  • Manage customer requests and resolve sample problems in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of medical-related experience or training preferred.
  • Data Entry, customer service, and LIS experience preferred.
