Cape Fear Community College is seeking a qualified Chemistry Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching chemistry courses to students at our North Campus location.

This is a part-time faculty position that requires face-to-face instruction with students. The course will start with the Fall Semester 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering lessons, lectures, and activities for seated and online settings. They will also develop and administer tests to evaluate student performance, grade assignments, and maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

• Prepare and deliver lessons, lectures, and activities for seated and online settings.
• Develop and administer tests to evaluate student performance.
• Grade assignments and maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
• Provide prompt and appropriate professional correspondence to students and colleagues.

• A Master's degree in chemistry or 18 graduate hours in chemistry.
• Knowledge of teaching techniques and procedures, including techniques using the internet and technology.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and students.
