Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a group home setting. Our client is committed to providing exceptional care and support in this environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop nursing plans to support the health care needs of individuals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and monitoring for any side effects or reactions
- Monitor medical and dental needs, addressing any health issues promptly and coordinating with the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals to create and implement effective care plans
- Act swiftly and effectively in medical emergencies, providing first aid and emergency interventions as needed
Requirements:
- Valid RN license and current registration in NY
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Experience in group home, long-term care, or similar settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
