Position Overview:
The Senior Automated Test Engineer will be an integral member of a specialized team dedicated to enhancing capabilities in cyber analysis and development, addressing the needs of the Navy and Department of Defense for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense.
Key Responsibilities:
The role encompasses the identification of critical cyber terrain through the analysis of operational requirements, execution of cyber analyses and assessments, and the development and execution of modeling and simulation for various cyber threat scenarios.
The team will perform comprehensive cyber analyses to pinpoint potential vulnerabilities and risks, assess mission and operational impacts, and propose suitable mitigation strategies.
Moreover, support for the program includes the creation of methodologies and frameworks to facilitate the cyber risk assessment lifecycle.
Automation Focus:
The Senior Automated Test Engineer will be tasked with implementing automation within the environment, transitioning manual processes into automated workflows.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $75 to $90 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and educational background.
Benefit packages commence on the 31st day of employment and encompass medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with options for HSA, FSA, and DCFSA accounts, as well as access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching.
Employees in this position are also eligible for paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable laws.

Qualifications:
- Top Secret Clearance
- Over 10 years of experience in establishing and implementing quality control standards for tactical software testing within Navy or Joint Programs.
- Proven experience in transitioning an automated testing environment from manual processes.
- Familiarity with system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with software development teams.
- Participation in requirements and design reviews, along with the development of test plans and execution of test cases in a dynamic software development setting.
- Proficiency in data analysis, verification, and problem-solving.
- Expertise in statistical reporting and analysis.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Unix/Linux, PERL, JavaScript) and relational database technologies (SQL, schema design).
