Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and organizes the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Cleans and sterilizes equipment according to established protocols.
- Maintains a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
- Assists the surgical team with draping and positioning the patient.
- Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and surgical team staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- Holds and maintains certification as a CST surgical technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing or their successor.
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
