Currently, we are looking for a Full-Time MRI Technologist to join our Outpatient Imaging Department. This role involves working during the day with the possibility of rotating between different locations.
The selected candidate may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI examinations following established departmental protocols.
- Utilize RIS, HIS, and Intergy systems to accurately input patient information.
- Ensure high-quality images are transmitted to the PACS system.
- Gather and document comprehensive patient histories.
- Perform quality control checks and digitize films as necessary.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, their families, and all healthcare team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or practices to supervisors promptly.
- Demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to care for patients across all age groups, including understanding their developmental needs and interpreting information to identify care requirements.
- ARRT registry completion is mandatory. Candidates who are not certified in MRI will have a two-year grace period to pass the MRI Registry exam after hire.
- A two-year associate degree in Radiology is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
