Job Summary

Sieda Community Action is seeking a skilled and compassionate Addiction Recovery Specialist to join our Behavioral Health and Treatment Services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to individuals struggling with problem gambling, under close supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Conduct community outreach and education on the signs and symptoms of problem gambling, its impact on individuals, families, and workplaces, and the services available at Sieda BHTS.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for clients, including crisis intervention and case management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in a human service-related field with a CADC certification or a Bachelor's Degree in a human service-related field.
  • One year of experience in a counseling-related position, preferred but not required.
  • Moderate level computer knowledge and experience, with ability to use existing program software applications with minimal training.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $19.42 to $22.67 per hour, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within Sieda Community Action.
