As a vital member of the nursing team, the Clinical Nurse Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing patient care during designated shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provides leadership and direction for nursing staff within a specific unit or area during assigned shifts.
2. Supervises and guides team members, ensuring optimal staffing levels and assignments based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
3. Delivers direct patient care when necessary and collaborates with staff to resolve challenges.
4. Assesses the quality of patient care and identifies areas for improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
5. Addresses patient care complaints through established protocols, ensuring a responsive and supportive environment.
6. Ensures that nursing staff have access to the necessary resources and equipment to deliver safe and effective care.
Qualifications:
• Must possess critical thinking skills and the ability to make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, with a minimum of one year of nursing experience.
