Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for performing on-site installation and preventive maintenance of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer equipment at customer labs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation and preventive maintenance of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer equipment
  • Handle personal parts inventories, complete job tasks and complete service reports using service ticket management software
  • Train customers on MS equipment and software
  • Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure effective service is provided to the customer

Requirements

We require a minimum of 3+ years of servicing, preventive maintenance of Chromatography or Mass Spectrometer equipment experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. A strong understanding of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer equipment is essential.
