Head Women's Golf Coach

The Head Women's Golf Coach is responsible for developing and continuing a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) program. This is a part-time position.

• Recruit players for the women's golf team.
• Conduct all practices and coaching for the women's golf team.
• Prepare budgets related to the golf team.
• Schedule all competitions for the women's golf team.
• Coordinate team travel and secure personnel for home tournaments.
• Recruit volunteer assistants for the program.
• Coordinate fundraising efforts with the Director of the ENMU-Ruidoso Foundation.
• Manage golf team equipment and supplies.
• Assist in supervising housing of athletes.
• Coordinate with local golf courses to secure practice facilities.
• Supervise student athletes and ensure eligibility.
• Assume all responsibilities related to the golf team.

• Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of collegiate scoring systems and tournament management.
• Excellent communication and promotional skills.
• Knowledge of new and upcoming golf equipment and teaching techniques.
• Commitment to excellence in coaching.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid New Mexico driver's license.

The work is sedentary in nature and requires occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
