Park Nicollet, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking qualified individuals to join its Primary Care team as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Medical Assistants (MAs), and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).
As a healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities will include:
• Escorting patients to exam rooms and accurately documenting necessary visit information and vital signs.
• Preparing and administering medications, as well as immunizations, under the direction of a clinician or following established protocols.
• Performing and assisting with procedures and treatments, such as administering ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans, as directed by the clinician.
• Ensuring completion of all components of the standard rooming process, including medication reconciliation, pending refills, allergy review, and completion of relevant forms and questionnaires.
• Maintaining knowledge of and complying with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Qualifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing is required, along with a current state license and one or more years of nursing experience, preferably in a related field of medicine.
Medical Assistant (MA): A degree from a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES is required, along with one or more years of experience, preferably in a related field of medicine.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): A high school diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and a current Minnesota EMT License are required.
Additional requirements include meeting one of the following:
Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program or current registration as a pharmacy technician with one or more years of pharmacy technician experience.Graduation from an accredited EMT program and current Minnesota EMT License.Preferred Qualifications:
One or more years of healthcare experience, preferably in a related field of medicine, is desirable.
