Deli Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Deli Associate to join our team at Ayer Shop 'n Save LLC. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food for customers, and maintaining a clean and organized deli area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, making product recommendations and answering questions.
• Prepare food for customers, including slicing deli meats and cheeses, making sandwiches, and pricing and packaging items.
• Unload daily deliveries and ensure the deli display cases are organized and fully stocked with fresh food.
• Operate all deli equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize deli equipment and food surfaces, including meat and cheese slicers, deli display cases, and utensils.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from managers.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Weekend Availability Required.
