About this Opportunity

The Staff Business Solutions Engineer is a key role that acts as a strategic liaison between assigned business units and IT. This individual is responsible for developing technology strategy, identifying opportunities, and prioritizing projects based on criteria such as return on investment and compliance. They provide high-level consulting support for key IT initiatives, communicating project information and priorities to relevant staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business economics and financial resources, as well as experience managing vendor relationships and IT contracts. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solution roadmaps for Commercial, Clinical, and Quality organizations
  • Partner with Commercial, Engineering, and external vendors to develop, implement, and support Salesforce, Veeva Promomat roadmap for successful commercialization
  • Partner with business units and external vendor (Compliance Quest) to support and improve the Quality platform
  • Partner with business units and external vendor (Veeva) to support and improve the Clinical platform
  • Champion integration between these platforms to create cohesive solutions portfolio (Boomi)
  • Create and analyze relevant information and develop recommendations
  • Act as the key liaison across all functional areas, including business units, the information technology department, and outside vendors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with business unit leaders
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and IT contracts
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CFR 11
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Knowledge of Clinical and Quality processes in Biotechnology, pharma or diagnostics
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM
  • Knowledge of Compliance Quest and Veeva Platform

Benefits and Additional Information:

The US target range of our base salary rate for new hires is $166,175 - $252,500. You will also be eligible to receive pre-IPO equity, cash bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the position offered.

Please note that individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company's sole discretion and may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to, location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, and education.
