Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, wash, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including floors, walls, and counter areas.
  • Unload and stack dishes, utensils, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Empty garbage cans and recycling bins in the dishroom and kitchen areas.
  • Sweep and mop floors in the dishroom and kitchen areas.
  • Clean and replace floor mats in the dishroom and kitchen areas.
  • Restock areas with required supplies, such as dish soap, sponges, and cleaning solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, such as assisting with food preparation and serving.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dishroom or kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, such as dishes and equipment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently throughout the kitchen and dishroom areas.
